Hamas leader Izzat Al-Rishq condemned the dawn massacre at Al-Tabeen School in Gaza, where over 100 civilians were killed, describing it as "genocide and a dangerous escalation."

Rishq accused the Israeli Occupation army of fabricating lies and making baseless excuses to justify targeting civilians, schools, hospitals, and displacement camps.

He emphasized that there were no fighters present at the school, contradicting Israeli Occupation claims.

He clarified that Palestinian fighters intentionally avoid being among civilians to prevent them from being targeted by Israeli Occupation Forces.

Rishq also dismissed the Israeli Occupation army's claims of using "smart weapons" to minimize civilian casualties, calling it an insult to global intelligence. He affirmed that all the victims were civilians, with no combatants among them.

He also criticized the so-called "American smart weapons" used in the attack, stating, "If these are smart weapons, it only highlights the stupidity of the Israeli army and its leaders—these weapons are anything but smart, they are blind."
